PG diploma in Healthcare Quality Management Program

NHSRC in collaboration with the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Centre for Hospital Management (School of Health Systems Studies) is running the PG diploma in Healthcare Quality Management Program. The course designed for 12 months having two semestersand targets the health professionals including the Hospital Superintendents, Quality Managers, Matrons & Nursing Superintendents, Health Administrators, Hospital Managers, Nodal officers for Quality Assurance in State health departments/ NHM, Members of Quality Assurance Teams, Committees and Units, Quality Assessors, Health programme managers, etc. working for or having interest in Public Hospitals or Programs.

 

The program endeavours to develop champions for quality of care for public health system and enhancing quality culture in public health facilities.

 

Course Structure:

 

Semester Pattern	Two semesters	First Semester 8 Courses
		Second Semester 7 Courses plus one project work
Extensive teaching- Learning Activities	Two contact programmes	Contact classes of 17 days per semester
		Online learning through customized software
Progressive learning and Evaluation	Assignments/ Project work	Assignments / Case study based on industry practices.
		Project work for understanding of  application of theory knowledge to practical situation.
